....God Shall Supply All of Your Needs!

Went for my morning walk and couldn't help but pause to observe this mother duck with her babies (about 10 ducklings) walking or should I say waddling..lol ~ It became obvious upon closer observation that the mother duck was looking for food for her "kids" and she was diligent!

She looked around the trash, she searched through the grass and nothing. She kept walking about 25 steps from her starting point and she struck gold! She located a spot and began to eat along with her "kids" What amazed me was the fact that the entire time she searched, the ducklings followed their mother's every step.

~When she stopped, they stopped~

~We she searched, they waited~

These ducklings were focused and had no doubt in regards to their mothers ability to find something to eat. The mother duck does not work, yet she knew exactly where to go for the food! The food was provided for her in abundance; more than enough for her and the ducklings.

Dear reader, how much more does our Heavenly Father care about us?

Is not our life more valuable than that of a duck?

What is your need?

Know that God is able to provide your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus ~

Seek, Ask, Knock  and watch God move!

....Fearfully and Wonderfully Made!

Life is too short to be stressed over small stuff....better yet things that are not even significant ~ one of the greatest enemies of happiness is negative self talk ~ at times we can be our own worst enemey

~ When we constantly reherse things that we have not accomplished in our life: didn't get the high school diploma...didn't go to college, when will I get married, why did I get married ~

We place ourselves in a psychological prison ~ the difference between an actual prison and a psychological prison is the fact that those individuals that are in a psychological prison have the power to get themselves out - simply because they hold the key...you have to love you and everything about you ~

You may not look like Halle Berry or Denzel Washington....but you are beautiful inside and out ~ we have to value and appreciate who we are, what we are and how we look.... Did you know that you were created in the image of God? Did you know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made?~ it's hard to love others when we don't love ourself ~

We have to learn to love ourselves....start by loving where you live...it may not be a mansion...but you have a roof over your head... love where you live....love what you drive...it may not be a Bentley..but it gets you to where you need to go...love what you drive.
You are valuable and your life has meaning ~

God loves you and I do too :)

......Judge Not

We should make sure that we investigate what we hear before we put words or information about others into the atmosphere. It was a cold brisk night in South Florida, a major shift from the 90 degree weather a week prior ~ the pastor of a local church was seen by his neighbor's son with a plastic bag full of beer headed towards his back yard. The young man, offended and hurt, went to his parents and told them what he had observed. The parents embarrassed, told their neighbors and that neighbor told their neighbors and the word got back to the congregation at the church. The church was shocked and shortly thereafter one of the deacons approached the pastor with the news. After hearing the news, the pastor burst into laughter; he said to the deacon, "I will go and speak with my neighbor's first and I will mention this to the congregation Sunday."

The pastor went to his neighbor's and said, "Good afternoon, may I come in?" Apprehensive, his neighbors let him in. The pastor went on to say, "There seems to be some misunderstanding and I think I need to bring clarity and closure to the situation. Your son observed me 3 days ago walking towards my backyard with a plastic bag full of beer. What I need to explain is that the neighbor on the opposite side of me, has a son that hosts parties every weekend while his parent are out of town ~ they consume lots and lots of alcoholic beverages and unfortunately they dump the cans in my yard. I collect the empty cans, place them in a plastic bag and walk over to the party with the bags and instead of condemning them, I take the opportunity to share Christ with those attending the party. Afterwards, I walk to the other side of my house and throw the plastic bags of beer cans into my trash. The family, embarrassed, they apologized to the pastor and realized that they should have approached the entire situation in a different manner.

....Seek & Save That Which is Lost!

Can you recognize someone that is lost when you see them?....When was the last time you pointed someone in the right direction?

I was leaving a department store today and I made eye contact with someone that had a perplexed look on their face - I saw perplexity in this persons eyes.....I proceeded to get into my car, placed the items I purachsed into the car and place the keys into the ignition. Before I started the car, my heart felt on the perplexed look on this persons face. I couldn't leave, what if he needed me? What should I do? I looked to my left then I realized that this individual pulled his SUV near to where I was and raised his hand as if he was in class. Usually there is apprehension when it comes to a stranger, especially during these days and times; but fear was dismissed because I discerned the need. He asked, "Do you know where the Home Depot is?" I gave him the directions, he thanked me and went to his destination "Home Depot" The interesting part is the fact that the Home Depot was at the next red light (not even a mile from where we stood).

Life is like this.  Perplexed and broken people are always looking for someone that knows "the directions of life" Often times we dismiss people that are hurting - hurting people that are in desperation mode are always crossing our paths - the question is - have I discovered the answer to life? If I'm lost...how can I point others in the right direction? - how can I lead those that are in the dark if I have not discovered the light of the world? Jesus is the way, truth and life - NO man can come to the Father(God) but through Christ - Choose Christ for your Life!

I WILL TRUST IN THE LORD!

Everybody wants to reign and go to the next level ~ but no one wants to suffer ~ the natural reaction to people or a person when they lie on you and run your name through the mud is to go in that persons face and be like: WHAT, WHAT, OH ~ I THOUGHT SO!!!!!! and man that feels good in the flesh or "the old me" lol ~ but in reality we have to remember that as we go deeper into the things of God and we begin to truly hunger and thirst for righteousness as well as walk in holiness ~ true we will be blessed and promotion is good, going to the next level and all that but..... what about suffering for righteousness? The world hates those that make Christ their Lord and Savior ~ not only that but when we say yes to Christ the fight begins ~ accusations are like butcher knives and lies are like daggers aimed at the heart...but nevertheless.....we have to remember the words of our Lord and Savior when persecution comes: "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me; rejoice and be exceedingly glad for great is your reward in heaven"

**EVERYONE WANTS TO KNOW CHRISTS' POWER ~ AND HOW TO RECEIVE MORE ~

BUT NO ONE WANTS TO FELLOWSHIP IN HIS SUFFERING**

Suffering has a way of reminding us that it's not about us, but it's all about Him.......
and His will for our lives. Suffering can bring about fruitfulness. If we were constantly on the mountaintop and everything we touched turned to gold, what would we appreciate? When everything is going our way and we never encounter any problems, we tend to forget our source.
Suffering reminds us of our need of Christ, which causes us to rest in Him!!

TRUST IN THE LORD AND IN THE POWER OF HIS MIGHT!!!

The Assignment

Can you recognize the assignment due date? Do you have multiple assignment in your hand that you have yet to release? As we walk by faith and not by sight...as we discover purpose....we get a revelation that our time here on earth is very short....we begin to understand that we are pilgrims just passing through.

Understaning that, we know that we have assignments while here on earth given to us by God. It reminds me of being in school and on the first day the teachers would give you a "course outline" this outline would have bullet points, assignments and their due dates. When we have progressed through the 1st 9 weeks, 2nd, 3rd & 4th, and let's say "finished the course" there would be NO excuse when it comes time for our end of year evaluation or final grade.   It's not until the first day - that initial day that we find out our assignment. The assignments can not be revealed to me if I am not in class or better yet "in purpose" because it is in class or "in purpose" that the assignment is revealed. If I skip class or if I am not living in purpose, I can miss the assignment. Living out of purpse produces spiritual lethargy and a mindset of   "What am I here on earth to do?"

The first day of school is on August 25, 1989 (I'm telling my age/10th grade..lol)...and the teacher say's, "students the final draft of your paper is due on September 15, 1989 ~ I know as a student that the assignment is for an appointed time...and at the appointed time... that which has been given to me has to be released to the person that entrusted me with it. I have to give the assignment up in order to prepare for the next assignment.

Often times in life we are hesitant to walk away from a "thing" because of our inability to discern that the "thing" is only temporary or an assignment. It could be a job, it could be moving to another city, starting a ministry or starting a solo career as an artist. We have to know that God called us to it for a season and when the time has come for us to move we have to recall in our mind that this was only an assignment and I have reached my due date. Thats why walking in the spirit is so critical.

There are times in our life when we live in reverse mode ~ we live outside in.... instead of inside out. When we live outside in, we are in control and led by our own carnal nature or our flesh....when we live inside out we are controled and led my the Spirit of God...."for those that are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God"

Do you have any over due assignments in your hand?
