Showers of Blessings

....so I went to the coffee shop this morning to get that morning cup of coffee, walk outside and look up and noticed that the skies were overcast...this guy came out the coffee shop behind me and asked, "do you think it's going to rain" looking up, I said, "Oh yes" He went his way and I went mine....later I was with my mom in my city "Coral Springs, Florida" I looked up and said, "it's still overcast, I know it's going to rain" my mom said, "It already rained at my house (different city~Pompano Beach, Florida)....I was happy for my mom and now I became more excitied because mom lives on the eastside and I live on the westside so "my time" had not come (season if you will) we have to rejoice with those who rejoice (especially when we see the blessing of the Lord showering upon them) ~ I pondered this for the rest of the day and realized something......at times in our life we can (as well as others) see evidence of something getting ready to happen in our life~ "something" being SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS ~ OVERCAST simply means overspread or covered with clouds; ....... more than 95 percent of the sky covered by clouds. ~ Overcast is a stage so to speak of expectancy ~ when we have cried and prayed and prayed and cried and we know that God has heard us ~ our faith is ignitied when we walk outside and we see "OVERCAST" skies......we then know that showers are coming....we then can say, "I hear the sound of an abundance of rain" ...now overcast is not rain overcast is the stage before the down pour....I'm pursuaded that someone is at a place waiting and wondering....when will the rain come? Dear reader....I have a question for you (just as the man had for me at the coffee shop this morning) Do you think it's going to rain? ~ Getcha umbrella...cause it's going to rain!

Trapped

Out of breath - struggling to breathe - what in the world just happen to me - in and out I flash from death to life - I cry silently because no one hears- as a matter of fact the doctor just pronounced it was nothing else he can do - now I see my body lying in the bed - what am I to do? Can anyone hear me? Momma why you cryin - hey tell my fiance' to get off the floor/what is everyone cryin for? - hey everyone - I'm talkin to you - why is everyone depressed and blue? - NOT MY BABY! - they brought my child up in here too? Momma please get your grandaughter cause she listen to you - why is everyone staring at me? Wait a minute - if you are all around the bed looking at me - why am I standing way over here by the door - am I outside of my body? - Wait a minute I feel this strange pull - hey everybody grab hold of me - cause I feel my self slipping - help, help me please - why all of a sudden am I hearing screams? I'm out of the hospital room now - I'm in the dark - I'm falling swiftly - I can't see my feet - why I am feeling intense heat - what is that horrible smell - wait a minute...am I in hell? No one ever told me about this place - But I was good, I helped old ladies across the street - I went to church, I even sat in the front seat! I gave money, and I dressed the best, I even had that one book 7 Steps to Success - All I did was have sex every now and then - oh yeah and drank lot's of alcohol over the weekends with my friends - but I was good, I don't deserve this - wait a minute, is that demon staring in my face? And another one to my left and wait, there's another at my right - what am I to do? I have no fight - I thought church was a fashion show - I thought it was about shouting and screaming hallelujah, oh no! Why didn't any Christians tell me the truth? They kept this a secret - now thats the truth - If any Christian can hear me please listen to me - get off your couches and turn off your T.V.'s go tell someone about this place - let them know that only Christ has redeeming power, love and grace!

Are You a Christ Fan or Christian?

Are you a CHRIST FAN or a CHRISTIAN? What motivates you to share....share the good news with those that have never heard the message? That message being that of Christ....the Messiah has come....bled and died for humanity...what motivates you to share the greatest story (TRUE STORY) ever told? Is it "POPULARITY"...is it about making people know who "YOU" are...is that your motivation? What motivates you to share the message that my dear friend John the Baptist shared thousands of years ago...."Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand" Are you trying to get your "SWAGGER BACK" in the name of the gospel? What motivates you to share?... is it "church titles or church cliche's?"...what motivates you to share the message...that Christs' Return is soon? ~ Man looks at the outer apperance...but God looks at the heart ~ What motivated God to send HIS SON? (check out John 3:16) Maybe you don't have a bible...I'll let you know ~ It was LOVE ~ we don't have to scare people into believing (we must tell the truth in love) which means we have to be balanced and tell/teach the whole council of God ~ Hell is a real place ~ but my,my,my God is a forgiving God (God doesn't desire anyone to perish but for all to come to the knowledge of Him) ~ Hell actually was created for this crazy, lunitic desembodied spirit named satan and his angels ~ we are actually in a battle of good vs. evil ~ satan knows his time is short so he is trying to deceive as many as he can to take that trip with him .....

The day is coming when OUR motives will be exaimned...let me ask you a question dear reader.... are you a CHRIST FAN or a CHRISTIAN? .....there are plenty of NBA, NFL and NCAA Fans....



~I said YES to Christ 17 years ago (Yes means: I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead) ~

Why not fall in love with the man? .....the Man Christ Jesus ~ the mediator between God and man....

1. THOU SHALT NOT HAVE ANY OTHER GODS BEFORE THE ONE TRUE GOD.....keep Facebook as a social network, not your life

2. THOU SHALT NOT STEAL....another persons staus without permission

3. THOU SHALT NOT KILL.....anyones reputation on FB....be a man, be a woman...talk face to face.

4. Remember the Sabbath, to keep it holy....keep things in perspective, just because we get inspired on FB, doesn't make-up for us not attending church

5. THOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY...don't trip, act like you know, if you married don't let FB cause you to rekindle an old flame...love your wife, love your husband!

6. THOU SHALT NOT COVET ANYTHING THAT BELONGS TO YOUR FB FRIENDS...just view folks pictures and keep it movin, we don't have to envy each other!

7.THOU SHALT NOT TAKE THE LORD'S NAME IN VAIN....if you name the name of the Lord in your statuses, let me ask you a question...do you know him in the pardon of your sins?

8. THOU SHALT NOT MAKE ANY IMAGE...LIKE ANYTHING IN HEAVEN OR ON THE EARTH...FOR I THE LORD GOD AM A JEALOUS GOD....farmville, yoville....all those villes...their fun but lets keep it in perspective.

9. HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER...show mom and dad more love than on and through FB!

10. THOU SHALT NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS AGAINST your neighbor(s) on FB......lets not throw each other under the bus with subliminal messages written in statuses....keep it real!

Do It Because You Love It!

Often times we fall out of love with that which we do because we have no passion, desire or love for that which we love. How can one love something, but lack the love for the thing that he or she claims to love so much? I believe that we have been conditioned in this generation to be infatuated with persons, places or things apposed to having or possessing true love for them. Infatuation is simply put "instant passion" or in other words, it doesn't last. We understand this from a relational standpoint: for example, guy meets girl, girl is desperate for guy, guy has one track mind, girl is infatuated with guys possessions, they have a rendezvous, several dates and phone conversation for 60 days, then become estranged.

We can go to any bookstore or purchase a DVD with that story line.

Ironically, we have the potential to do that very same thing to God...how so?
God gives you a vision about your future...its so vivid and clear there is absolutely no doubt that it is from Him. You tell no one, but it seems every where you go some one is confirming what you believe was whispered into your spiritual ear about your future. You can't keep from smiling and you love God even more. You are amazed that God would reveal this to you.

So you decide to share with everyone that which you believe is your purpose or destiny for your life. Those individuals you decide to share these things with become more excited than you. Everyone begins celebrating the idea you shared with them and this takes you on another high. Unknowingly to you, you have become infatuated with the idea that God gave you. It is evident by way of the lack of doing anything with that which God imparted into your spirit. That which God imparted in you is in essence the thing He created to propel you to next level.

As long as we are talking about it, we are not being about it.

Love is an action word and if we desire to see longevity in that which God created us to do, we have to work the thing that God gave us. Doing so will cause us to love what we do and do what we love!
