Does your faith have an object?

What do you do when life happens? I have discovered that many of us that profess that we have faith in God, never had that  faith we profess religously tested. Eventually, as we walk the road of faith, the very thing that we bodly confess during high emotionally charged chruch services, church confereces and moments after payday, will soon be challenged. The unexpected death of a love one, the job that we are so committed to releases us unexpectedly, your child becomes ill, your car gets stolen, your son or daughter has behavioral problems at school, marital problems. We really don't know what we have until the time comes for us to make a withdrwal from that which we have stored up. So is there hope? Yes there is - Jesus said, "In this life you will have trouble, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world" We have to remember that our faith needs an object - we just can't have faith in faith - Our faith needs an object and that obejct is Christ the solid rock!
